Free Fix Check

Start with your VIN. Check two reviewed Kia warranty extensions, then take the source to your dealer.

Your VIN goes directly to NHTSA to decode the vehicle. FreeFixer does not save your VIN, mileage, or answers. They stay in this page until you clear it or leave.

Find it at the base of your windshield or on your registration. US check digit validation included.

What this check includes — and its limits

Only WTY041 Soul horn assembly and WTY040 Telluride self-leveling rear shocks are reviewed here. US-market Kia documents, manually reviewed 2026-10-30. We do not include every Kia program or keep this set current automatically.

Horn assembly repairs: 10 years / 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, from first in-service date. The bulletin describes corrosion and dust inside the horn assembly. Other warranty limitations and exclusions remain.

The supplied Telluride oil-filter-housing-gasket link could not be verified and is excluded. NHTSA vPIC does not provide Kia’s campaign status, first in-service date, or exact vehicle/component production dates.
